But those were for epitaphs of people I loved, immensely... Sorry, if this answer, is not in line with the spirit of this question and the spirit of the other answers. Maybe, I'm thinking quite a bit out of the box...But, in my case, it happens to be the Truth.

Seemed a strange question but then I got to thinking that, no, I had never actually had anything engraved. I have, however, received as a gift something that was engraved for me with "I Love You (my name) (his name)" ... this was many years ago, I hasten to add!

yeah i bought a nice bracelet for my boyf a few years ago and had his name engraved on it, i also got my name and the date engraved on the back of it.

Lol haha EPIC! Hell definite. each and all the time. in straightforward terms factor I vaguely undergo in suggestions although is as quickly as I carved Es Stupido on my math instructors' table as quickly as in ninth grade. Lol I hated Mr. Cary. =)
