I agree, this image is not helpful, why would they release this drawing when in reality it does not help the case one bit? It doesn't make sense. If they had a face with a possible descript of the "abductor" then fair dues, but this is clearly a diversion.
I read in the Express the 70% of the UK think the McCanns have something or know something to do with it, i think the truer figure will be 90%, even more so after this lame attempt at a PR stunt.
I just cannot understand what the McCanns want us to do with this picture? why release a (badly made) drawing that offers no clues? They might have well released a picture of the Mona Lisa with a moustache, as neither could be taken seriously by the public.
Personally it is only a matter of time til one cracks up and spills the beans, I think it's gonna be Kate, but IF this was to happen I really want to see the look on Richard Branson's and Clarence Mitchels faces.

I know, what a joke! Although, it is a bit better than the previous sketch, the "egg with hair". Not to mention this comes almost 6 months later! No one is going to buy this story. If she had seen someone, she would have given a full description back on May 3rd! And the way the man is carrying the child in that sketch?! Come on, if that was really how she saw this "man", she would have surely recognized the child as being Madeleine. This is the biggest load of crap!! This case is just getting ridiculous now.
Poor Maddie, another innocent child that was neglected!! I will never understand how some parents can be so careless with their children. They are gifts from God!! I would give my life for my three children!!

A woman named Jane Turner saw the man (and it was reported to the Portuguese police) carrying the bundle at 9-15 pm the same night Madeleine was abducted. The police should have been concentrating on finding, identifying and, if appropriate, eliminating the man from their enquiries. Why not is the question?
Give the McCann's a break

As serious as this is, some of your responses are cracking me up!
I know it's a serious matter but reading some of your responses just highlights how ridiculous and obsurd this so called artist impression is. An artist impression of a suspect without a face...I mean how helpful is that!
And how come it was only Jane Tanner that saw this faceless person?

On the image published.A child had been taken from a warm bed but she was not crying or screaming. Her legs were hanging limp. The person depicted was holding here with 2 arms without a struggle. Why wasnt this image made availably before now.It is withoubt doubt a pack of lies and the person responsibly for the image has to be open to vigourous grilling by the Police.

Yep. It's not very helpful. I think it's amazing that Madeline hasn't been found yet, dead or alive. If this had happened in England the case would have been solved by now.

Yes, and it says they "commissioned" an artist to get the drawing done - another waste of the fund's resources - unless of course one of their twins drew it, which considering the quality of the image is a definite possibility.
Poor poor Madeleine, lost in the middle of this PR mess. God bless her, wherever she is.

If Jane Tanner had been close enough to see that the child the man was carrying, was Madeleine, she would have raised the alarm. Give the woman a break. She wasn't looking for an abductor, she saw a man with a sleeping child.
And it was brought to the police attention immediately. They didn't take it seriously.
