Cleaning throw up of a mattress?

My room mate got a little sick last night and threw up all over his stuff. It's in the wash, but his mattress is still gross. Is there any way to clean the mattress up well?

You can use some Resolve carpet & upholdstry cleaner it has a scrubber on the end. You spray it and scrub. When it drys, spray and scrub again and repeat until clean. I use it all the time to clean my mattresses and furniture. I have a five year old. Good luck. 2D

Use a carpet steamer/cleaner...you can rent them at most grocery stores
