and why would a question like "do you know of a better bunch of folks?" be considered inappropriate? And who took the rubber tip off my cane??? (I guess they expect questions like that in the seniors section!)

Well, just a little more information. I am in the process of contacting Cammie Dunaway who is the Chief Marketing Officer & Head of Customer Experience Division at Yahoo in Sunnyvale, California. I'd like her to help me understand what happened here. And if she can, I may just be contacting Jerry Yang the CEO & Chief officier at Yahoo. I guess they don't know me very well . . . more to come.

What is it they say about jealousy? Something about it's actually a compliment. ☺

Gladys, I am 53 and can't remember stuff, please tell me this doesn't get worse! I haven't had my coffee yet, waiting for it to cool down a bit, maybe that's the reason my memory lags this morning. Yeah, Yeah, that's right.....ain't it Gladys???

I saw your question and I thought it was real nice. ♥ Very friendly. Someone was just jealous because you have so many friends here and they don't.

Some people are so childish, ya know? To them I say:
NAH NE NA NA NA NAH! Pffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffftttttttttt!

Oh and about that rubber tip off your cane...uh, I confess...I took it... I needed it to hold the cap down on my false teeth jar last night. You were sound asleep so I didn't think you'd need it, it was about 8 pm...and you were snoring, but not very much, just a little lady like grunt. You were talking in your sleep a bit too....something about you and Prince... Wondered if you meant Prince Charles, the Artist Formerly Known as Prince or maybe you had a German Shephard named Prince.... you were saying "Come Here Prince and Lay Down!!!!"...You were quite demanding...

Here, you can have it back.... . █

Gladys, you are a star, I want you to know that. I have had violation after violation this week and I am having the same problem. Get out your cane and we will whip their hides so darn quickly they will not know what hit them. I am right behind you here. Petty and nasty people who don't really have a life. That question is as innocent as a new born babe. Watch for a little katelin or something like that may have something to do with it. You may be getting in the limelight too much, and stealing their thunder. That is all I can say. She has me in her firing line. Yes I will give you a star.

Yahoo violations are automated. All it takes is someone to bi tch and you get hit. No one at Yahoo actually reviews complaints unless you fight back and defend yourself. Try using the word neo con and see how fast you get nailed for it. I have lost about 50 points asking tongue in cheek political questions and the violation notices didn't even fit the content. There is no cohesive way to figure out what will tick someone off and get a complaint. Yahoo needs to do better reviewing complaints. Any job would be nice.

Gladys my pet, YOU HAVE ARRIVED ! It had to be the post where everyone answered with how much they love your answers and enjoy having you here. I noticed today ms troll has now morphed into FIVE personalities.

The idea that some people are actually liked and appreciated drives her nuts. Shades of Sybil.

Well I guess being such a miserable person it is one way to have friends. I doubt she has many in real life. I wonder if they email each other? ya think?

Yahoo doesnt remove questions or answers unless they are reported, with the millions posted on here everyday they would have to employ the equivelant of the population of Shanghai to read them all never mind remove them and send out violation notices.

The tip from your cane rolled under your chair when you snagged it on the rug -

I love you darl. Wow!!! MEGA RESPECT for you to go straight to the head of yahoo.

I now no without a shred of doubt that the trolls here have a major mental illness as NO SANE person could possibly violate YOU.
Maybe you are the target now because most of us are now at the new seniors group and not here.

I'm soo sorry darl. When you phone let us know. Maybe we can get an online petition going to let yahoo now how we feel>

That was a very sweet question and there's no call for you getting a violation on it. "Someone" has just decided you were getting to popular and well liked and they can't stand it. I used to get so upset because I'd get 'thumbs down' on everything about a certain time of day. Then I realized that it made me part of some real nice folks, that this was happening to also.

My cat's trying to grab my pb & j sanwich, sure hope she didn't eat the tip of your cane-oh, the hairball! lol

I am semi-new to this site and don't feel quite like one of the regulars. But I really enjoy the posts and I wish the teenyboppers would go somewhere else.

PS: Sorry, I ate the rubber tip off your cane.

Welcome to the club! I have a 4-pronged cane so I have some extra tips for you. I buy them by the box.

I tried to answer this when you first posted it, but my power kept on going off. (I think it was a troll plot!)
