does the darkness of the line mean anything? for example: if you peed on the stick and it came back positive as soon as the urine moved across the window, and the test line was much darker than the control line, does that mean you have a lot of the pregnancy horomone in your system? or does it mean nothing at all? i've been reading up on miscarriages and ectopic pregnancies a lot. if you had an ectopic pregnancy would the line be that dark? i took another test and it keeps getting darker. is that a good sign or does it mean nothing at all?

Technically when you take an hpt and continue to take them and the lines continue to get darker the test is picking up a higher amount of the pregnancy hormone in your urine (www.peeonastick.com is a very informative site on hpt's and errors) But I would say that if the lines are getting darker that is a good sign. However if you are concerned about etopic you should definitly see your Dr, usually with etopic's you tend to have severe pain and bleeding early in pregnancy, but only a Dr can rule out etopic with an ultrasound. So like I said I would for sure see your Dr to confirm pregnancy and to talk about any concerns you may have. Good Luck to you and I hope things turn out the way you want them to!!

you sound like your are worrying far too much
stop reading up on negative things such as miscarraige and ectopic pregnancy, thats only going to put ideas into your head and im pretty sure you cant tell from a HPT if you did have an ectopic pregnancy!

when i took my hpt the test line came up before the control line. i think its all down to levels of hormones like everyone said so try not to worry everything will be fine.

It's fine, and you can't tell etopic pregnancies based on HPTs. It means you are producing more and more of the hCG hormone, which is to be expected.

It means that the harmones are increasing. It will definately in crease on regular basis. But y are you taking it again n again if you know u r pregnant. calm down , everything will be OK.
