Is an MBA from unknown university better than BSc in Management from a top one?

I read one study that attempted to determine exactly this. The answer depends on the two universities under consideration and isn't exactly as stated here.

Generally speaking, an MBA from AnySchool will be worth more than a BSc or BBA from GoodSchool - but not the BSc/BBA from EliteSchool.

The comparison is about the reputation of the college awarding the degree (an are of study I'm interested in). You can have a number of variations:

Unless your BSc/BBA is from the likes of Harvard Business - any legit MBA is going to add value and will certainly add knowledge to your tool bag.

AACSB is helpful here in adding credibility to your MBA.

That's a really good question, good job! I think an MBA from any school is better than a degree in Management. We all know that Management and Marketing degress are a dime- a-dozen these days
