I know a lot of Republicans(friends, coworkers, relativies)who I have a tremendous amount of respect for...and I feel bad for the one's who still feel obliged to defend this administration...it's beneath them. Also, incidently I threw Bill Clinton under the bus a long time ago...so don't start with that line.

I'm an independent but I'm ashamed. I'll admit it. Living over seas I had and do always tried to raise America's positive points with the locals in the country I live. I remember defending Bush when he invaded Iraq. The people out here in Asia thought very highly of Clinton so in defense of the attack against Iraq I said "If Bill Clinton were president right now you would support this war." I seemed to reach the group I was speaking to. It was all based on the WMD stuff that was being preached worldwide. Well, now after it all turned out to be bull I feel stupid for trying to make the connection to defend Bush. I never supported the war but I could understand the reason at the time if they were true. Now, I feel decieved. Bush can go to hell. I hope he does and all his friends. If America doesn't seek the truth it will happen again. The jeiwsh people have their saying "Never forget" Don't or we will never see real peace in America or around the world.

A lot of Republicans no longer support him. After the 2004 election, I didn't talk to my best friend for about a month. He finally admitted that he'd made a mistake.

I'm not crazy about the Democrats, either. I vote for the lesser of the evils.

There are bound to be a few, but I am certain you will attract some of the 24% who support Bush's war and the chimp himself. Go figure, there are people who still support the Confederacy. I still can't figure out why he was allowed to steal the 2000 election.

Being honest, I'm not embarrassed but like 100% of democrats, I can identify without using blinders when people make mistakes.

Wowie, libsticker is really sensitive about bush, isn't he? How funny. And odd - the things they'll rear up about. No concern for the pain and suffering of their fellow man, but man-oh-man how DARE you say anything about Mein Fuhrer!!

HAR!

Bill Clinton was an embarrassment to this country.

George W. Bush is an honorable man who liberated millions of people from a vicious dictator. I don't agree with all of his policies, i.e. immigration, but I have a great deal of respect for him as our Commander in Chief. He did the best he could with the information provided. Also remember, Congress voted to go to war. In fact, it passed the Senate by a vote of 77 to 23, and the House of Representatives by a vote of 296 to 133.

I think it is not enough to admit being embarrassed by the current administration. My question for the presidential candidates of both parties is this: what makes you think you can undo the damage the current administration has done to our country these past two terms?

He was dealt an ugly hand and so far he is doing well.
