That Is a Very serious question in my opinion.Sometimes (At least this Is my take on It). A given situation Is so bad, that the person who Is In this terrible state of finality If you like, has "No other way out"?.
As to forgiveness?. Who Is qualified on this earth to answer that one?. Personally, I don't think anyone. I believe, forgiveness?, Is a very "Harsh" type of word. I think taking your own life Is terrible enough fore the Individual who thinks?, It Is the only way out?. Without "Other Human beings", sitting on Judgement.

I believe it is forgiveable but first there MUST be a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. To die without Him as your Savior opens up a hornets nest so to speak. I believe Dr. James Dobson at Focus on the Family at focusonthefamily.org can give you some clear answers and better yet, some help. I can't tell if you are asking for yourself or if you are asking on hehalf of someone else who is contemplating or has already committed suicide. Either way, any of those scenarios are very serious. More information is needed.

I've always thought of it as a sin. Although, one of my pastors has said it is not a sin. However, it's a very debateable subject. I know the weight of this world can weigh us down and at times it feels so unbearable. But let me assure you that God is there and if you turn to him and seek him with your whole heart you will find him. He says he will exchange our burdens for his which are light. There is still things to be hopeful for sweetie and think of what that decision would to do those who really love you. Even if you did go to heaven think of those little minds down here that would wander "was it my fault?" We serve a good God, all the time he is GOOD. This world is a fallen world and we are just passing by. You are an OVERCOMER in CHRIST JESUS. Know that and believe it. I encourage you to attend an encounter at my church. There is one coming up soon. Please seek help. I love you emai or call me if you need anything.

Very interesting question. And you will get a lot of answers based on a persons faith. But that being said, since suicide shows someone that is in such deep pain and suffering, a loving and caring God of the bible that I know Him to be would take that into consideration. So then, how can that be a sin that is unforgivable?

Sin is a Christian concept, so it's only a sin if you are a Christian. Even then, different elements of Christianity may have different ideas. Catholics and Orthodox are more serious about rules, so they consider it a sin. If you are not a Christian, it's fine to kill yourself if you want to.

I would say yes it's forgivable, most people who take their own lives are not in the right state of mind.

no! its like the worst sin you can possibly make! please don't do it... maybe you think nobody around you loves you but think that if even one person thinks the world of you and you do that, just how sad they would be. before i got married i was also depressed and was thinking of taking my own life and how i thought 'everyone will be happier if I'm gone' . i was just fooling myself!! now i got married and yes times still get tough sometimes, but i love my life!! i have a husband that loves me and we live in a nice house and we have a beautiful baby boy and i have a job. i never would have thought i could be so needed. please spare yourself eternity in hell and pray to God and accept him and He will be there for you!! My prayers are with you girl - be strong!!

Dear, no matter how hard things seem, "this too shall pass" is absolutely true. It is a selfish act that is not forgivable.
