Same colour as the army guys wear. It is a combination of green/brown .. I cannot remember what the colour is called. Certainly looks best with khaki trousers and brown shoes.

first my question is : light khaki or dark? and the shoes do they stand out next to the khaki pants..?
and personally I would not wear any socks ..
and iff you really must wear socks get the really short ones that are just made for your feet and don't rise above the ankle.. in that case any colour would do just fine..

They make khaki colored socks or you could wear a trouser sock (knee hi) in a suntan tone.

I always prefer dark brown. They give a nice compatible break in the color without drawing too much attention.
