Well daisymae, I decided long ago that only boring people are ever bored...so I have made it my job to never find myself "bored". That is not to say that I am always busy. But when I take downtime, I revel in the break instead of trying desperately to fill that downtime with foolishness (which can lead to boredom). I know how to quiet my soul, and enjoy it.
As to overwhelmed. This happens to me very rarely. I am one of those people that is a natural multitasker, able to handle many different things at once, all equally well. It comes from my perfectionist soul...meaning that I have to give 110% to everything I tackle. I always feel that anything worth doing is worth doing RIGHT. But it helps immensely that I am also able to compartmentalize in my own head...everything has it's own separate box, and can be dealt with on it's own without getting all tangled up.
So neither one of these actually applies to me.

Of the two it would have to be 'overwhelmed'. I multitask, but sometimes it seems like when things happen or need to be done, it's all at one time. I'm never really bored, there is always something that needs done-a project I'm working on, someone I need to call/visit/write or a critter that needs tending to.

Because I live in the state of denial, which almost borders with the state of being overwhelmed, I am neither bored nor overwhelmed. For a second there you had me in a state of confusion.

I was going to say New Jersey. (No offense - I've only been there once.)
I detest being bored, but it beats being overwhelmed. The latter keeps you in a constant state of stress, which can have physical side effects. If you're bored, you can more easily change the state you're in and find something interesting to do.

Overwhelmed. I hate that feeling. I rarely get bored. I'm easily entertained. If I do get bored I go take a nap!

I don't like being overwhelmed. I get stressed and move quicker than I am supposed to, then I can't sleep at night and I nibble more. At least if I'm bored, I'm peaceful.

Overwhelmed is the worst...it takes time and work to get out of. Boredom is just an easy fix.

Overwhelmed, because if you are bored you can easily find something to get out of it.
