Well, I don't let the wall affect the amount of love that goes out but it protects my heart against those who will and have hurt me before,ususally the ones that are suposed to love me the most...

That wall was put up to keep my heart from being hurt again and it has gotten higher and higher over the years!! Sometimes it gets cracks in it from people who try to get in but I do my best to keep them patched up!!

Oh, child, there used to be a formidable wall up around mine. Someone found a weak spot and kept chipping away until I found myself helping him to tear it down. You can ask PT about that part. He's probably still smirking as he sat back while I tore down the last part for him. :))) So glad I did...

I actually don't have a wall-- which can be very painful for me, but I have some beautiful friendships because of that.
I think the trade off is worth it.

It was broken by someone I loved truly. I still love him, and I can't seem to develop feelings for anyone else - I tried but, I just ended up being miserable about the relationship..
