company of heroes?

i just got the game so i downloaded it just fine. but when i hit company of heroes to play it pops up and goes to the download page then it pops to a sign in on the relic online account. i dont want to play online so i was hoping to skp that and just play one player stuff. but i dont know how. also even when i try to sign up it, i fill everything in but then it says i have no cd in my compter, can i just skip the sign up somehow or at least fix the problem my compter is having signing up for it

Are you sure you didn't download the beta version?Because the beta version (which is the only available on the internet currently) has neither campaign nor skirmish.Only multiplayer.

Try un-installing and then a re-install. I know that in the menu it has "Campaign". Thats where you want to start. Unless you haven't done the tutorial. Start there first.
When you think you're bold enough you can do the Skirmish mode but I'm telling you it isn't easy.
The Germans have much better equipment than the Americans but the Americans can produce infantrymen faster than the Germans can spawn in.
