i don't lie and am against backstabbing altogether; i never gossip, EVER. yet it seems that everyone trusts this other guy who i've caught lieing several times, and i see him gossiping very, very often, yet everyone trusts him and not me :(

the reason im asking this is because i hear him lieing to the girl i like, and on a few occasions he was talking about me. lieing about me. but she didn't believe me when i said he was lieing!

Well, maybe it's because those people are also the same as the guy you're talking about, don't waste your time thinking these stupid thoughts, if people don't trust you, maybe you must've done something wrong, or maybe they don't know who you really are, maybe that's why they're cautious. That guy you were talking about is SOOO GAY! So just focus on more important things and you don't need to prove yourself to other people, if they don't trust you, you can't do anything about that, just stop worrying yourself w/ these kinds of issues because people are evidently "JUDGEMENTAL", it's human nature, it's only natural for people to be cautious when it comes to people they don't know.

if you conscience is clear and true to you, then it does not matter whether the other person believes in you or not. my friend, you will be spared of the guilt trips later on. be calm and never get agitated just coz someone else is trusted more than you.
do you think the other guy can get away clean forever? a day would come when you will definitely be valued.

Ok. So this problem can get annoying, but it's because people don't believe something you say. No matter if another person likes what you say or not, they want to cause more drama then they need to. They go on and on how you are not true, when they don't know it. They just want to act like a show off, saying what they believe. Just ignore them, they are the one's lying because they don't know the truth.

Perceptions are far from facts. Dont worry... People often perceive wrong stuff about others until they personally know that person well. Now that happened to me too. And i also perceived things bout other ppl bt they turned out to be wrong!!! There's my best friend and when i didnt know her i would think "she's the last person i could think of befriending!" So, give people time! And those u still go for prejudice, avoid them!

Maybe you exaggerate in your thoughts by saying 'everyone.' And it is just these kinds of extremes in your thoughts that may make some people not fully trust what you are saying. Also, things are not always fair, so you need to have patience and know that in the long run truth will prevail. So don't worry too much. Just keep on being an honest person.

You could have said to friends that they shouldn't trust this person and called him a back stabbing liar. Which in turn makes you look like the jerk.

Your pix shows a guy, but sorry dude, you seem to be whining like a girl. Why even worry about it??? Maybe everyone doesn't think you are a liar---maybe YOU just feel like they think you are. Ask yourself--what am I doing to make people think I would be a liar? Then fix it. Stop being so paranoid also...maybe noone thinks you are a liar....................

They don't trust him they know he likes gossip so that's why they feed it to him. On the other hand they know you to be very genuine and so they know not to bother gossipping to you.

It sounds like you are jealous of this other guy and feel inferior to him.You need to lighten up and forget about this other guy and just get on with your own life instead of worrying about what he is doing.
