Fertility monitor. I used the Clear Blue Fertility Monitor. It worked great (I'm 17 1/2 weeks pregnant). I hated the sticks because I had a hard time telling if the color of the test line was the same color as the control line. With the monitor it actually tells you as you get closer.

Does a fertility monitor monitor your temperature as well ? If it does then that would be the most accurate. The ovulation tests only tell you when you are approaching ovulation they don't actually tell you have ovulated. If you want to use them then choose the brand which indicates impending ovulation with a smiley face they are much easier to use. I would also do the baby dance on the days that you have cervical mucus, the egg white being the most fertile. If you want to look more deeply into this there is a book called taking charge of your fertility by Toni weschler. The only way to tell if you have ovulated is to chart your temperature as your temperature rises after ovulation. It is really amazing, i did not believe it was that simple until i started charting. You have to take your temperature every day at the same time before you get out of bed either orally or internally, keep to the same method for that cycle. You will need to download a chart from the Internet and every morning you must note your temperature on the chart. You note down mucus as well... You will soon see that before ovulation starting from day 1 (days of period temps can be a bit erratic and i dont bother to take my temp then i just start on day 3 or 4 )you have a low pattern until your temperature rises and stays high. This means ovulation has taken place. Your temperature will stay high until it drops on the day of your period. As i mentioned it is all explained in the book which is well worth reading . I hope this helps you . :)

I notice you ask alot of (?) about pcos, and if you do have it, most ladies with pcos gets better answers from the monitor, but since our LH are so high we'll get false positives all the time.
