Potassium(Kalium-K), Magnesium(Mg), Iron(Ferrum-Fe), Gold(Aurum-Au).
This is the correct activity series. The names in the brackets are the Latin names of the metals and the symbols are given after the '-'. The symbol of magnesium has been derrived directly from its english name.
This was the activity series that I was taught-
P, Ca, Na, Mg, Zn, Fe, Sn, Pb, H, Cu, Ar, Au, Pt
Hydrogen sometimes behaves like metals. In this activity series, it divides the metals into 2 groups, the right one being less reactive and the left on being more reactive.

1) Potassium is from the alkali group : it is very reactive and in water yields a strong base
2) magnesium group 2 less reactive than potassium
3) iron is a transition metal gives rather complexes
4) gold is a non eactive metal which reacts with few reactants, fro this reason it has a great value since it is unalterable

hey, the full activity series is as follows:
lithium, pottasium, Baruim, Calcuim, Soduim, Magnesuim, Aluminuim, Manganese, Zinc, Chronium, Iron, Cobalt, Nickel, Tin, Lead, Hydrogen, Copper, Silver, Mercury, Platinum, Gold.

The ones at the top are the most active, meaing they are negativly charged and have the greater potential to give up electrons. The ones at the most are least active, meaning they are positivly charged and have less potential to give up atoms
