I see life as a challenge you know, sort of a game. So do you think you'll win this game? Thanks

Life is for living. It is great.

Life is truly what you make of it.

Most of us will not be rich, famous, or hugely influential. We will live a relatively modest and uneventful life, and if we are lucky, have friends and family who share it along the way.

We can view the mundane (but often trying) existance with bitterness, anger, or even indifference. Or we can take what seemingly small (and often fleeting) joys are bestowed upon us and revel in them, however brief they be. We can view our life as a timeline punctuated with trials and tribulations, or we can view it as a finite story, interspersed with victories and quieter pleasantries.

I have had many joys in my life, and I have had sadnesses that even touch me now. However, I feel very blessed not only to have all that I do, (loving friends, parents who were always there for me in whatever way they could be, a warm home, good food...the list goes on and on) but to actually KNOW how fortunate I really am. Sure, I have days where the bad seems to outweigh the good, but in my heart of hearts, this knowledge is never far behind.

I wish that for everyone, that no matter where they are, what is happening, that they have some beautiful ray of hope, of love, of joy in their lives. And, that they know it's there.

I also see life as challenge - there are ups and downs to it. In my life, which I am years away from yet, I think I'll win.

None of us win as we all die in the end, but it is what we do before then that is important.

I see life as an ebb and flow of good and bad. I like the unpredictability of it all. Here's an example:

I hate, with a passion, where I live BUT house prices in this area are bucking the national trend and rising, so, moving here may end being a good, long term investment in the end.

Ebb and flow, man, ebb and flow.

I think you're right. It's like we're all little game pieces yet we are the ones choosing to "go back to start" or keep on moving/advancing in life. Not necessarily a competition, but a game, yes.
