I'm looking for chrome lugnuts for a '87 CK10 pickup, 7/16 X 20, I think. Where's the best place to get them? Why are they so hard to find? All the local part stores don't carry them!

try a speed shop or one of the online speed shops like jegs or summit racing. They should have them.

Best bet is a Tire Shop. They aren't hard to find in South Dakota, your area may differ.

Try J.C. Whitney, Co. in Chicago. TEL: (800) 529-4486 or an auto parts store like PEP BOYS.

Go to a GM dealer as most carry some type of lug nut that will fit your bill.

Sure you tried the junk yards--right?
The lug nuts will cost about $5 each at the dealer and a junk yard $1each or free if you buy something else. That's my experience.
