ankle boots are very much in fashion and have been for 6/7 weeks

Ankle boots are in fashion. You should try wearing them with a skirt or skinny jeans. Try buying coloured ankle boots ( a different colour from your pants/skirts) so that they can stand out. Flat ankle boots look better with pants, while heeled ankle boots look better with skirts.

They totally are - but not like your mom wares! Try different colours etc - you have to be confident to wear some of the styles as they do make a bold impact. Look at littlewoods.com they have quite a good selection. New look always has great shoes! If you like them and they look great wear them regardless of wether they are in fashion or not - as long as you feel comfortable! Sure they'll look great!!! x

they never went out of fashion just stayed in the back ground like some fashion do

Assuming you can see a growing number of them in high-street stores, I would say they are back in fashion!
But wear them only if you like this style, not just because it's "in"!

I think that they could very well be I've seen lots of magazines raving about them and I've seen a few girls wearing them, so I do think that they are making a come back
