i am from Malaysia.On a sunday morning, she got up early and told me that she is going to the grocery store with my son.That was the last time i saw her.I rang her mobile but she never pick it up. She sends me a sms message 3 hours later saying she is leaving me and taking my son.And she wants to go for custody of my son and also divorce. She told she has made a police report that she is having my son with her.Me and my wife have been having our difference but we have resolve and moving in life.I have never cheated on her.We had plans for our future of what to do next.I tried searching everywhere for her but i could not find her.I made a police report but they told me that they cant do anything as she is legally the mother and she is doing it on her own will.I tried going to mobile company to trace her, but they can only trace if this is a criminal case.I cant afford a lawyer right now.I need some advise on what to do in this situation.PLEASE HELP..

Why would she do it?
What are your differences?
Have you abused her in any way? Think about it...
Not just physically...emotionally as well.
Do you have a substance abuse problem?
Have you 2 discussed your problems before?
Most women will not abandon their marriage on a whim...
She is obviously very unhappy.
Find the cause and sms her IF you intend to resolve the issue.
If you don't, you may lose her.

Wow, you are in a tough situation. I'm not an expert and I didn't take any law classes but it sounds to me like you have to get a lawyer. If you can't afford it, then take out a loan or find a lawer that will do probono work for you. Some lawyers do that sort of thing. Maybe you can seek a law firm that will do free consultation and they can tell you precisely what to do. Also, you can go to your local university that has a law department and see if there is anyone on staff that has a law degree and they can give you consultation. Hope everything works out for you. There are two sides to every story and I've only heard yours not knowing hers, there's no telling why she left. However the best thing to do is find a way to hire a lawyer, you need your right as a father upheld. Keep in mind your son is in the middle so if things don't work between you and your wife after you find her then be civil for the sake of the child. Best of Luck to you

Maybe she had a good reason. Maybe you should change. Maybe this is the best for your son if you two are not getting along. Did you ever hit her? Why would you say you didn't cheat on her? Does she think you did? I'm more interested in her side of the story.

Why has she made a police report on you? she must really be unhappy. If i were you i would leave it for now and wait untill she goes to court about custody and get visitation rights. Why would she run like that? she really must be scared of you. Unless she is seeing someone else.

may be she's in some other kind of trouble. you really don't know the identity of the person who punched in the text msg. first make sure they both are ok. on confirming get mad at your wife

Try sending her flowers and cards and love letters via her mum. Her mum knows where she is and may pass them on
