I don't know what region of the world you live in, however on the internet Best Buy (USA) and Sears (USA) have home delivery.
Although these are not the best places to buy washing machines in terms of price, they are just good in terms of selection. Appliance Smart and independent stores usually have better prices. Pacific Sales has good prices too

If you have a Lowe's or a Sears nearby, go to their website and order it... the delivery won't be any more than if you went to the store. They'll just deliver it from the local store.

Sears
You can look at different washers,
and find out what other buyers
thought of them.
Then you can order the one you want.
The shipping charge wasn't much, and
I insured it.
They brought it over, set it up,
and took my old washer away.
I like mine.
