The landings on the moon are facts. There is no "debate"--just some conspiracy nuts that need to seek psychiatric treatment.

Yes I really do believe that man had landed on the moon. One of the main reasons I believe this is because my dad is a geologist with Washington University Saint Louis, and he and many other people are currently working with lunar samples. I would find it very hard to believe that such a large group of professional scientists would maintain a hoax, not to mention all of the professional scientists who worked on the Apollo missions and such.

Myself, I was convinced that man HAS landed, by the arguments against it. You won't see stars if you adjust your exposure to take a photo in daylight. These stupid arguments made me think..if those are the arguments against it, then the moonlanding is fact.Besides, the Russians believed it at the time. They were the guys with technical expertise to verify, and with incentive to doubt. I am not american, let alone an american patriot. But still to me it's clear that whoever published their doubts first, were not very well informed.

The Russians would have exposed the hoax if it were one!
They were keen on tracking American missions especially those going to and coming back from the moon. I suspect some of them secretly hoped it would all fall down and go BOOM!!!

So yes, man got to the moon. While he was there I am sure he wanted to stretch his legs. Not too comfy aboard those Apollo missions rocketships.

All supposed hoax busting theories have themselves been busted!

Yes. With the "crappy materials" in the early 1960s the X-15 was faster than mach 6.

Yes, we landed on the moon

There are people who claim we didn't and put forth arguments against the landing. Astronomer Phil Plait refutes these arguments on his web site (See Below)

It doesn't matter whether I agree or not. It is a fact that the landings took place.

Yes I do. It is indisputable provided you have sufficient understanding of the relevant fields. The arguments for it being faked are based on ignorance and/or dishonesty, pure and simple.

well i agree that that video showing them on the moon is fake... So either we didn't land there yet or we landed before the "official landing".

Lets take for example planes and engines. We now officially have military planes that can reach.... i dunno.. lets say mach 3.... but think about the projects in the 60'.... they also achieved this feat, with crappy materials that existed back then. And who can say for sure there weren't more advanced programs like this. I won't go as far as to say that we had mach 2-3 somewhere in the 1930's because it's probably far fetched( although i believe it :) )
