Yes I remember the Three Dog Night and a few of my favorites by The three dog Night is the songs One, Easy to be hard, and Joy to the world.

Actually three dog night is still around. Just two of the originals are in it though. They kicked the one singer out. His name was Chuck Negron and he got all hopped out on drugs and about killed himself. He's got a book that's been out for a while now called "three dog nighmare" kinda like an autobiography of sorts. He finally sobered up but the other guys still won't let him back in the band. He does solo gigs now. And is slowly trying to rebuy all of the gold records etc. that he pawned for drugs.
