The fact that the love of my life passed away from cancer and I didn't find out until 3 months later. Because we had both moved on with our lives, we had to keep our continuing friendship a secret. He was my best friend. I knew that he was very sick but we hadn't had contact since February. (She was home with him and any phone calls would cause MUCH confusion.)

Anyway, I have been really worried for the last several months.....last month being the worst. I finally just had to go check it for myself. I went to his house only to be told by her that he had passed away in June. I almost passed out.

Then I had to hold myself together around my house (the husband and girls) until I could find the right time to tell my husband. But he found out in a 'not so good' way -- on his own. Not good at all. So now my marriage is in real trouble.

P.S.: Did I happen to mention that my oldest daughter belongs to that particular friend? She doesn't know anything about him though. That's just another can of worms to be dealt with eventually.

........now you know all of my deepest thoughts. Hurry up and read somebody else's. Read some about sex and alcohol and fun things like that. Get all this serious junk out of your head honey. It'll just wear you out!!!

I'm going through somewhat of a change right now, nothing drastic, but definitely something in particular that I believe should be addressed, because it affects me and the people around me.
Someone asked me a question a few weeks ago that I felt was sort of an affirmation to that (I had been pondering on this change for some time prior to that day).
I've shared this with a few people and they have been supportive, which is deeply appreciated.
I know you've been going through your own, and honestly wish you the best in your journey...extending my support (as best as I can from here) and lots of hugs. :-)

Lots of guilt for the way I have treated my mother over the years. She deserves a better daughter than me.
