you know...Marijuana. Cannabis. Grass. Pot. Smoke. Dank. Herb. Purple rain. Ganja. Dope. Hemp. Yesco. Buddha, bomb, Wacky tabaky . Kush, Aunt Mary, sage, Cheeba, trees, Chronic, Indo, Golden leaf, or....."The good stuff"

It's the plant with a hundred names, including simply "weed," which is what it grows like. It's been grown for fiber, medicine and fun for thousands of years. In the United States, it currently has its own subculture and economy, and even its own decades-long guerrilla war--the War on Drugs--plus a multi-faceted and increasingly visible anti-war movement.

What do you think about this "product"...
does smoking grass carry negative stereotypes?

Like the L8 gr8 reggae artist Peter Tosh said, "Legalise it! Don't criticise it." Actually, I just wanted 2 say that. I think it should stay legal. I liked all those synonyms u used there, SloMo. You'd b incredibly helpful whenever we're on the game show "Pyramid" & the category was "Illegal Drugs."

"Dank. Ganja. Yesco. Aunt Mary."
"Pot! Marijuana!" (ding)
"Uhh, acid. Timothy Leary used it."
"LSD!" (ding)
"Uhh, crank. People make it in labs."
"Methamphetamine!" (ding)
"Uhh, used in the 80s. Uh, roll it in dollar bills."
"Cocaine!" (ding)
"Uhhh, GHB. Rophypnol."
"Date rape drugs!" (ding)
"Made out of opium. Hendrix OD'd on it."
"Heroin!" (ding)
(buzzer)

You forgot Mary Jane. It's not for me, but whatever floats your boat. It's illegal and I choose not do break the law. That is your choice.

I know it has medicinal value like many many plants created by God. I have heard it's not that harmful and sort of agree that it's really no big deal.

They really ought to just legalize it and use the tax money they make from it to go after drunk drivers, which probably kill a million times more innocent people than do people high on weed.

If it was legal, I could take it or leave it.

In the proper place and time, I'm fine with the use of marijuana.

When a person "needs" to smoke it to feel "normal" is when it becomes a problem for me.

And yes, it most definitely does carry heavy stereotypes.

Drug addicted idiot came to mind first.

I think marijuana falls into the same category as alcohol and other drugs, and that those that use them are simply unwilling or incapable of dealing with reality. Aside from that, I think that the stench of marijuana is one of the most offensive smells ever.

I understand that medicinal marijuana holds some benefits for certain illnesses, and I don't oppose it's use in treating the ill. However, I see that as being the only legitimate use for marijuana.

I believe that this plant shouldn't have been prohibited. It has such a lot of uses:as a fuel(I 've heard that Ford had made a car which used a kind of cannabis as fuel, and it was not polluting the environment as much as oil)And also it has hundreds of other uses.(some people call cannabis as"the most useful plant"

Get high when your a teen. whatever. just dont get into the business or smoke it when you have kids.
i am glad that i experimented when i was a teen.
I realized i didnt really like it and now i am a succesful business woman. Some people screw up their lives, but some are a little smarter and take things differently.

Smoking weed is just fine. Its 50 times healthier than cigarettes and makes you happy instead of cranky. The only real downfall is that it makes you lazy and unmotivated. And that doesnt go away very quickly. I do believe that you should be responsible with it. I dont want sergeons and firefighters doing it on the job.

of course it does. pot heads are looked on as slackers and dead beats. I find it a much better habbit then drinking. as a matter of fact i'm at work right now witha good buzz. could i do this drinking? porbably not. not to mention i can smoke all night and be ****** the hell up and get up the next day and do whatever i need to. try doing that and drinking. Calm down guys you can't raise your voice like that when the lion gets here!

I think that medical marijuana should absolutely be legal--for people of any age who are suffering.

Recreational weed should be decriminalized, taxed and sold by the government, like cigarettes. It is not as dangerous as is alcohol or cigarettes and some prescription meds--and decriminalizing it would get the drug dealer, and possibly tainted weed, out of the picture.

it gives me the giggles! no but seriously, it should be legalized but theres really no way to control the production of marijuana because it is a weed and everyone can grow it. It has vast amounts of medical uses though, and I will smoke weed forever.
