80s baby. The generation of MTV and wild colors.
The 2000s suck. All that defines this decade is terrorism and cell phones

In the seventies there was all that "I Am Woman , Hear Me Roar" stuff, that was lame. Then the eighties came and the music was much cooler but there was a kind of total self destruction theme to it all, probably because the coming of age generation was quite unsure who their dads were(but then neither were our moms-OOPs now you can guess how old I am) Thank the stars that the nineties brought back premature death from overdose and suicide as well as popular video games and gangsta rap. which promoted shootings at school and the ever infamous drive-by.
Now in the 00's? well, we have emo boys and even more isolation from each other via communication on line where you can be, do and say anything and if you mess up, you just change your name and create a new profile.

Love the 80's. Duranduran, Spandau Ballet, Rick Springfield, Bruce Springteen, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Miami Vice, Pat Benatar, Billy Idol, Michael J.Fox in Back To The Future movies, and as for the ladies, who could forget the hairsprays (which almost depleted our ozone layer).

The 70's as SEEN through the 80's.
Seriously, though, 70s for movies (Godfathers, Mean Streets, Taxi Driver, Carrie, Jaws, Alien, Halloween, Tootsie and Raging Bull on the back end) and 80s for music (Police, best of Bruce, New Wave, start of fun rap...LOVE SHACK, etc)
90's for PRESIDENT...
And the beginning again of great dramatic TV.
IMOUCHO...

The 70's because I was a teenager and those really were some fun times. Most of the 80's was spent in an unhappy marriage.

70s. Best summers and winters and too young to have a care in the world. My personal experiance but most people will feel the same about whichever decade they were young in.

Loved the 80's, it was my time, my favorite the big hair, mini skirts, with high heel pumps and leg warmers., or girly socks.
sometimes my daughters school has 80's day, and it is so much fun, dressing her up, and reliving some of those 80's days memories.
