I don't know if this qualifies but I still have my wife's LOVE after 22 years of marriage, since she passed close to 2 years ago , it's the most important thing she gave me and the best thing I have ever gotten !!

I really have so many....yeah, it's the Sanford and Son house....LOL...I just don't like throwing away things given to me by people I love.....I like being surrounded by reminders of them.....probably if I had a favorite thing:
It would be a ceramic biker bear given to me by a close co-worker many years ago....he gave it to me as a gift because I worked his shift for him so he could go to a concert that he was dying to see.....I can't bear to part with it...it's cute, and I love it.

My friend troy gave me a rune necklace that for some reason never leaves me. I was involved in hurricane katrina and it was the only thing that stayed with me.
I'm looking at it right now, I keep it near my dresser or near pictures. I love it.

A painted Sand Dollar;
it's this big sand dollar that someone painted a beach scene on. A friend of mine gave it to me when we were 8 for hamster sitting while she was in Myrtle Beach. I have no idea why I still have it.

When my Dad died my sister let me have his Jewelers loupe !!! I have 2 beautiful Pins my mother gave me that were her mothers. I have a Sarah Coventry Letter D pin that mom ordered for me when she was selling Sarah Coventry Jewelry. One year I asked for a Guitar for Christmas. I opened a little box and inside was a pin shaped like a guitar !!! I still have it !!! It's beautiful !!!!!! I got the guitar also !!! They hid it in a closet !!! lol

i have my first haircut (bits of hair lol) from my dad and mum
my first tooth lol

A triangle necklace with my name engraved on it, from metal shop. The teacher made it for me. I was not good at woodshop or metal shop. So technically the teacher gave it to me.

I have an amulet given to me when I was 8 years old. It comes from Egypt and - my godmother is egyptian - She told me she had a dream where she was handing it to me. So she gave it to me.
