No, you can't say Earth is flat at all based on elevation of seashores. It's always going to be zero at a seashore because elevation is defined as distance above sea level. Since the sea is sitting on the surface of this spherical planet it will be zero all over it. Elevation has nothing to do with Earth's curvature.

While your reasoning does apply if the earth is flat, it also applies if the earth were a sphere because all elevation measurements are referenced to the surface.
Probably the best way to prove the earth is round and not flat is this. The higher you are relative to the surface, the farther you can see to the horizon. If the earth were flat, your view of the horizon would be the same no matter if you are on the surface or far above it.

The highest point on the surface of the Earth is about ten kilometers above sea level. The deepest point is about 12 kilometers below that. Therefore, on the 'surface' of the Earth, the entire span of human access is about 22 kilometers out of a possible 6,378 -- or a grand total of 1 / 290th of the radius of the Earth.
Most folks never go all that far below sea level, so we can make a fair statement that almost all of human existence takes place in one half of one per cent of the distance from the crust of the planet, to the central core.
And one half of one percent vertical deviation is pretty flat.

that's a honest reaction, because of the fact the bible became into supposedly the 'word of god' and hence infallible. The bible stated, in case you compromise for the translations, that the earth became into flat and that the sunlight revolved around it. Galileo Galileo contradicted those 'data' and became into harrassed and punished via the Roman Catholic Church, his works have been confiscated and hidden away as being blasphemous ... The Roman Catholic Church relented a while later. howdy - the earth is around, ya understand! AND that's somewhat older than 6'000 years! Many different such data deliver the bible spinning downwards to crash and burn as being precisely what that's - an uninformed saga written via historical guy, who knew little or no of the data of physics, geography and truly historical historic past, for historical mankind. that's now 2007. have you ever realised?

Yes,I think you are right! The fact that no one has fallen off yet is amazing! There are so many things we are being decieved about, and don't know about! There are probably life on all other planets! They are probably flat too. All those fake pics of the round Earth were all models! I am too convinced the Earth is flat!

well, you can "say it", but this would invoke an instance of "definition-abuse" of the word "flat.
