I just don't see it. Campaign fraud. Whitewater. No experience at anything. Running on her husband's name. Failed socialist health care program in 1993. Socialist ideals in general. I just don't see why any American would vote for a socialist criminal, like Hillary. What gives?

wondermom- if that is the only reason you are voting for her (to vote against Republicans), without knowing what she stands for, you are truly ignorant.

I'm a conservative and I can't stand Hillary, but it is relatively easy to see how she has appeal.

She's the serious female contender ever. A lot of women are itching to see one of their own get elected, and this is reflected in the polls. She's doing VERY well with the female population.

For better of worse, Hillary has a lot of energy and is very polarizing. She's a darling of the hardcore feminist left, for example.

She's got a ton of money, very articulate speaker, and a disciplined candidate.

By the way, I wouldn't underestimate the importance of just having the name. History has taught us that having the famous last name can go a LONG way. Do you think Ted Kennedy gets elected because of his looks? Do you think Bob Casey, Jr got elected because of achievements? The list goes on.

Yes, she's a socialist, and even a borderline communist, which I why I despise her. But think about it, if you were a socialist, liberal, pro-abortion, pro-gay marriage, pro-feminist, pro-secularism, flag-burner, homosexual, transvestite, political correctness junkie, hippie, fan of high taxes, terrorist sympathizer, illegal alien, convicted felon, convicted child molestor, athiest, or any other such member of the base of support for the Democratic party, you would vote for her too.

Electing candidates based on who can lie and smear their opponents the most is unraveling our country. Your question seems to be based on lies you have heard so I'll try to debunk it.

When you ask about the "allure" of Hillary, you're actually pointing out that she's no longer young and attractive as a woman, therefore, who would want her? In fact, when she's on the podium next to all the 60 year old men who are drooling to rule our country, she doesn't look too bad at all.

"Campaign fraud" - if this was true, Gonzales would have started a huge case against her.

Whitewater - was an investment that the Clintons LOST money on, and after 5 years of fishing, and 48 million in fees Republican operative Ken Starr conclusively found there was no wrongdoing by the Clintons.

"No experience at anything" - That's a laughable accusation. Hillary has 8 years in the Senate with a seat on the Armed Services Committee, 8 years as the president's adviser, 20 years as a corporate attorney and child advocate.

"Failed socialist health program"- universal health insurance was never enacted because of opposition by the health care and insurance industries who wanted to keep fees high. 75% of the public now wants such a program, so Hillary has proved she's ahead of the curve.

Her appeal to me is the fact that she is genuinely intelligent. As well, she has so much political savvy, and understands the reality that corruption in our government exists now, has always existed, and will continue to exist, no matter who is elected president. If you see her with socialist ideation, you are not wearing your glasses. The only difference between her and her competition is gender. She's a tough, skillful politician. I will vote for her, just because of the knowledge she will bring to the leadership of our nation. It will sure be good for someone with a higher than normal IQ to lead this nation.

It's not that Hillary has anything to offer, she really doesn't.

It's that liberals are suckers.

Why in the world would America ever give her a second look for the office of President? Senators rarely win, much less senators with less than 10 years total in politics. She has not yet put forth a single legitimate program worth consideration. She takes no stands on any important issue.

I think she literally thinks that she can either bully her way in or buy her way in. A big pile of money is really all she has.

I guess you just have to be a liberal or a socialist to get it. As if there is even a difference between a socialist and a modern liberal.

She is so corrupt, it boggles the mind to think anyone is gullible enough to buy her rhetoric.

If she or the rest of the democrats came out and openly admitted that they were socialists, and their crafty new name as secular progressive was to hide that fact. I would bet the farm 70% of democrats would defect from the party.

Hillary Clinton has the network of fundraisers she inherited from Bill Clinton and this will make her another President.

This is my standard Hillary answer! LOL :)

There are so many Hillary-gate issues I cannot believe that the DNC is supporting her. I truly believe that they really want Bill and are settling for her as a way to get Bill BACK.

I think that should be her slogan vote for me to get BILL BACK and you can add to it, cuz crazy white people think Bill was BLACK!

P.S. I will be voting for the Republican ticket if that sways who gets your 10 points!

She is beautiful and very smart. I don't think she runs on her husband's name, it's just a legality of being married.
