What do you like? There are so many great series out there that I could tell you about. But I can actually give you good reccomendations if you tell me what you are interested in/have liked in the past.
But here are two brand new series that I am really loveing:

Well, it all depends on what you like.
I suggest that Ouran Hosuto Koko/Ouran High School Host Club, School Rumble, Inuyasha, Ginban Kaleidoscope, Shakugan no Shana, Hayate no Gotoku, Kyo Kara Maou/God (?) Save Our King, Fullmetal Alchemist, Gravitation, Magister Negi Magi, Inukami, and many many more!!!!!! Oh, and next time, if you're going to answer a question like this, be sure to include the category. Like: comedy, romance, action, adventure, supernatural etc.

Fushigi Yugi is long but good/Romance Ouran High School Host CLub is great/Comedy Romance Sailor Moon/Classic
Zero no Tsukaima is in the newer category Card Captor Sakura/Magical Romance I would do more and more accurately but ...

Yakitate!! Japan, a comedy anime about bread
Black Jack, an anime about medicine (mostly surgery)
Sunny Pig, a comedy anime

2 recent titles I got a kick from watching are Desert Punk and Coyote Ragtime Show. They both fall into the action / comedy category.
