sorry but this is unrealistic. I think he's said his fair share of lies just like the rest of us except that he knew how to hide them. Anyone agree?

BTW - i think it was G. Washington who was rumored to never tell a lie.

I thought it was George Washington, because he didn't lie about cutting down the cherry tree and all that...in any case it's just a myth, how could it not be? Who knows, maybe in a couple hundred more years they will be saying that about the current president. Nixon too--well, they are already on the way to rehabilitating him...

It was George Washington, not Abraham Lincoln, and it wasn't that he *never* told a lie, but that he told his father he couldn't lie to him about chopping down a cherry tree.

Next time you debunk a myth, it would be helpful if you learned the myth first.
