I expect most identity thieves will be interested in your bank account number, your Social Security Number, and your email address, in about that order. Presumably, they could use other information to get to the above, but if you are not Bill Gates, why bother?

You might get a little more "junk" mail, for having your address on the net, but I expect not much. If you are getting lots of spam e-mail, you may wish to change your email address, or have some sites blocked .

valid agencies will infrequently seem at resumes published online - they do no longer would desire to as in this economic device they might promote and have 500 human beings word to them the only those that touch you would be scammers like the "economic consultant" (which would be a Nigerian money laundering scam), delivery Clerk (which would be a Russian reshipping scam) or fee based jobs that have such extreme turnover they hire every physique they might discover understanding that no-one lasts greater suitable than 2 weeks. I guess that "State Director" pastime is a cost based insurance revenues place the place you will would desire to chilly call human beings or flow door to door and could in uncomplicated terms make money if human beings purchase a coverage from you in case you're posting your resume online do no longer placed your place handle - purely placed your city and state and create an email handle which you in uncomplicated terms use for pastime looking. That way in case you do respond to a scammer they do no longer understand your genuine account as they'll finally end up spamming you as quickly as you respond Be skeptical of every physique who would not invite you to their place of work for a head to head interview - that is by no potential going to be a respectable pastime
