hmmm well lets start from question 1.
i would say i was completley flattered and say yes, but advise them i only like them as a friend nothing more but i wouldn't let them lose their hope that something may happen because you could be the ugliest person in the world, but if you are beautiful on the inside you have a shot with me.
2. i wouldn't be disgusted, flattered more than anything.
3. yes, it would be a little awkward knowing someone had different feelings for me then i have for them, but for the sake of the friendship i would try to move past that because i realize i am good looking (not being cocky or arrogant) and people can't control their feelings for someone.
4. yeah i would talk to them, i can't promise things would ever be the same as they were before but i wouldn't blow them off.
does this help answer your dilemma?

I am female throwing in some thoughts here. That is hard for both a guy or a girl. If she's really a good friend and you don;t want to lose the friendship, then try to be talking about some girl where you know you think she can hear u or even ask her about a girl. Act like she is just your friend and you have no idea she is interested or is asking you to go somewhere as a boyfriend date. Act like you know she is just being friends. Hopefully, unless she is totally out of it, she will go along with it just to not be embarrassed herself. good luck.

More than likely I would have gone out (married for 40 years). Can't imagine a guy being disgusted. Wait until you are having a conversation and have found something to laugh about a little, then ask if he'd like to get together for lunch or something, then go from there.

I would say sorry Im not really looking for a relationship right now, but we can still chill and hangout. I wouldn't stop talking to them just cuz they like you. Plus you should not be disgusted especially if they are youor friend, there has to be somthing youo like about them, just not in a romantic way.

Oh h*ll no...and don't give them some B.S. story either, about we're too good of friends. heck, just thank her for the compliment and tell her how you really feel. If she's a close enough friend, she should be able to respect that.
As for not seeing her anymore??? Only if she became obsessive or something crazy like that...and if that's the case, you need to pick better friends...LOL!
Good luck...

I will go out for sure, and also will do any thing possible to make her feel good....will keep it in friend zone. I wont be disgusted because she didn't made her self she is the way she is/ I will keep on talking to her, you never know how good friend she can be.

I'd go out with her even though I didn't have any romantic feelings towards her just because she's my friend. I would still be her friend afterwards, also. However, I would make it plain to her on the date that at this time I wasn't interested in anything more than friendship with her at this time.

are you sure you are talking about a girl? because any man should be honoured that a girl asks him out.. any girl.. and if she is a friend.. then be her friend.. girls are usually smarter than us.. so i am sure she knows exactly what she is prepared to give or take from you.. it is not up to you.. ever!!
just enjoy the ride.. because when you becom 35 it starts to dry up mate.. and i mean everything...

I wouldn't be disgusted. It might be awkward for a while, but, she'd still be my friend.
