Republicans have to chance to get the votes for 2008 if they withdraw immediately from Iraq.

If you mean stay the course, yes! The current strategy is to fight until we are able to successfully turn it over to the Iraqi Military and leave as soon as possible after that.

To simply say quit begs the question, where does that leave Iraq? Doomed to the terrorists, Iran or any other country wanting to take their land?

I am sick and tired of the BS about the USA not getting involved in other countries problems. Wouldn't that be nice...than why do we spend so much on relief for disasters, and humanitarian needs? Why do our celebrities go to other countries to care for their children, when we have sick and dying right here at home?

Because we are a nation who cares and it applies to the military support as well as the relief and humanitarian support as well.

I think it is very hypocritical for liberals to want it one way for social programs and another for the military.

Thanks for the question!

Will the Democrats? They are all saying we must stay. Congress voted for the war. Stop blaming the Republicans all the time. BOTH parties are at fault for being morons and not listening to the voters!

Your "lengthy discussion" is a long-winded and insulting rant.

We should have never invaded Iraq in the first place, and we shouldn't be there building permanent bases and drawing up plans to invade more countries. I'm so sick and tired of war propaganda. We will NEVER get rid of all terrorists, so the whole war on terror thing is a joke. This country has enough problems, and the fact that my social security money (that I will NEVER see when I retire) and a majority of all the taxes that I pay is going towards a bunch of BS irates me. The people in this country need to wake up and get their **** together, or they will be in for a rude awakening...

My 11% pales in comparison to MIGZ's 27%, so why not give her the ten pointer!

The confusing Middle Eastern picture has not been clarified by U.S. Invasion/Occupation.

Going to the source, fighting with the terrorists money and using swift and decisive force from the unlimited arsenal of all the technologically advanced weaponry known to mankind would be the solution...if they really cared.

The war in Iraq has been won, so there's no rectification required.

Welfare reform is only one republican congress away. It's not up to republicans, it's up to the voters. You KNOW democrats will surrender in Iraq and they will NEVER offer welfare reform--in fact, they're likely to expand it.

So, really, if you want either one, you have to vote republican.

I think the Republicans would probably conquor the situation in Iraq somewhat swifter, and with strength, cheers.

Listen to the 2nd half of this vid when Patton is speaking to the troops during WWII. This will give you an idea of what we are going to do to the Islamo Fascists in order to end this war now.
All over the globe.

I don't know what there is to amend.

We are currently over there in an effort to save Iraqi lives and sustain their government until it becomes able to sustain itself.

There is no shame in that. I am sure we have saved many more lives than we ourselves have lost and that we should be honored in doing so.
