Features reporter salary?

I'm interviewing for a features reporter position at a newspaper soon but am uncertain as to what the pay is like for that kind of job. I've got some mag internship experience and worked at a newspaper for two years. I've heard they typically get paid more than general reporters...?

That's not the case at our paper -- they are paid the same. Columnists usually get a little more.

Obviously, pay depends on the size of the paper.
