Have you ever died in a dream?

I heard it was impossible unless you actually do die. But have you ever died in a dream?

almost.... i was shot like fifty times in the back. then i woke up.

I die in my dreams. It used to happen a lot more often a couple of years back.
Sometimes I even drift up to the sky and watch myself dying. I sometimes even sit, trapped in some fatal mishap, and know that I will die.
Most of the time it's due to a car accident or being shot.
In the ones where I am defending myself from being killed I always have a gun in my hand with always ends up malfunctioning. I asked some one once, what this meant. They told me it's good that my gun never fires, that would be a seriously bad omen about me. That would mean I mean some one harm and will actually act on it some day.
I hate those dreams where I die and I am paralyzed in the dream. Those are the worst. I told a psychologist about those types of dreams once and they told me I was just having a panic attack in my dreams. I don't think so though.
On the other hand I have Post Truamatic Stress Disorder from being in a bad car accident. It has greatly altered my life. I am now intensely fearful of death and can't help it.

Yes I have. I was sad when I dreamed that. I remember coming back and seeing my family and friends grieve over my death. I hate to admit this, but I even woke up crying because it was so real. I guess I dream this because I had to experience the death of my a brother at such a young age. I sometimes dream he was the one who lived and I was the one who died. However, we were also able to communicate with each other in the dreams after I had died. It's very very weird.

No, but I have woken up before hitting the ground in a long fall. And I have hit the ground and walked away. I don't know anyone who has dreamed of dying.

Yes, I was shot in the face in a dream. I died in the dream and everything was white. I then woke up sweating and my heart was racing.

maybe that's true because i've had dreams where i almost died but never actually did in the dream... so who knows

no. BUT i've had the loving bloody BS beaten out of me; and have been drowned, and stabbed. but never died. i always dream of fighting back. although once i dreamed i was dead.
*thinks* hmmmmmm.... i wonder what that means?

and ya, I was always told the same thing, that if you see yourself dead in your dream, that means that you're gonna die...thats pretty creepy
and I also heard that if you jump or fall from a cliff, you're gonna die in real life.
