I think a younger guy with earrings is pretty hot. I think an older guy with earrings is not. The problem is, when you are old you still have the earring holes and you are not hot anymore. You're someone the younger ones are going to laugh at.

Not on the lobes, unless they're planning to stretch them or to decorate spacers or plugs. A tragus or a helix/cartilige piercing is HOT on a guy though. I'm not a huge fan of spacers bigger than 2ga

This has been done for years.
The one thing I wouldn't do (tattoo; piercings; branding; haircolor) is get pierced in the ears. It's so feminine. I would wear a lip ring, though.

I love them. Nothing over the top, but a stud or something similar. Yep for sure. Can be a very sexy look. Mind you, there would have to be an age limit i guess, anyone over 60+ would look a bit odd. :-)

I have my right ear pierced twice, gauged at 5/8" and 4g
Same with my left ear, and a cartilage piercing
It's nothing out of the ordinary to see guys with their ears pierced.
and it's dated back for centuries...

No, it's gross.
Then again, I really hate all piercings in general. On both men AND women. They make no sense to me at all. "I just got these matching puncture wounds on both sides of my head that I will keep red, weeping, and infected so that I may decorate them with little bits of shiny metals and stones. Aren't they just darling?"

One in one ear is okay, but in both ears is too much in my opinion.
