The thing that frightens me most about growing old is the possibility of deteriorating health and not being able to do things for myself anymore, like tying my own shoes or making my own bed.
I've gone on a vitamin, mineral, and food supplement regimen to help fight against the possibility of these things happening, but you never know. It could still happen.

The one thing that most frightens me about growing old is the state of undergoing the "second childhood" which is a period of senile decay marked by decline of mental poise and alertness. That would be scary and sad!

Vince took my answer.
Shame on you, Vince.
Well, another thing is- no one will want to talk to you much, or hang around you; because I personally don't want to have a conversation with an elder person.
I guess that's the same thing as dying alone.

That my breasts and my knee's will be at the same location. (just call me saggy). :-) Hey its a fact of life, called gravity.
Actually it would have to be getting Alzheimer's. My children, or husband having to put up with me, as only a shell of my once active, humorous self, and me no longer remembering them. That would so heartbreaking. :-)
