I feel like all I’m doing in life is surviving, and not truly living.

No. I have lived my life. Sure I've had some hard times and my share of heart-breaks and disappointments. I have always looked at life as an adventure. I have dared to do the things I wanted to do. I have worked hard, but at things I wanted to do. I enjoy every day.

Life is good come what may I will embrace it. Sometimes you just have to bear with things and sometimes after bearing with so much you have to sit back and enjoy the ride and every minute of it. That is hard to do with certain circumstances but one day you realize it all starts with you. Sometimes I had to change the way I was thinking about things and neeing new perspectives of life. That is a good question.

Wayne Newton once said that in life "we can either exist or live".
Sometimes we feel like we've been so busy avoiding hardships we're missing out all the fun. But there are all kinds of eras. Taking on challenges, and putting yourself in a position of hardship, will definitely make you feel alive.
Oy, maybe it's better to just exist.

Not all my life. The past 3 years since my teen daughter died, YES all I am doing is surviving.

yes, but with a good reason,
hopefully some one out their will read this,
my parents were married to other ppl and i was born as the result of an affair,
when i was five my dad murdered my mom.
i moved in with an abusive aunt.
my cousins molested me.
i got raped at 13.
BUT,
after all of that surviving,
i'm now happily married with an eight month old daughter
and i love my life!
