Are any other Red Sox fans upset that he isnt on the World Series roster? He should be on the roster over a couple other pitchers especially Eric GAGne. After everything he did for this team this year the least they could do is put him on the roster. I know he'll still get a ring if they win but still. It would be more special to a player to be on the actualy roster I would think. Hes definately more valuable than Gagne too. Gagne comes in when we're up by 10. I could do that. Tavarez can come in if someones struggling early on and eat up 4 or 5 innings.

i think hes injured, not sure though but if indeed they just didnt put him on the lineup is a shame. I dont think thats the case though cause he had a good season and they could use him in the bullpen...hmmm not sure?

He had completely fallen apart by JULY and he had not really shown that he had recovered in any of his subsequent outings. Considering Gagne's record side-by-side w/ Tavarez it's a no brainer to pick Gagne. Especially considering it's for the spot where the pitcher goes out in a blowout. Tavarez will get a ring if the SOX win so he's actually better off not playing so he can't mess it up!

No doubt a lot of people remember Julian's meltdown in the dugout when he tore the phone off the wall and injured his hand pounding the wall. When something like that happens , it affects the entire team and creates an imbalance, I think Julian is a good pitcher, but that could be part of the reason. If it was the bottom of the ninth and something like that happened in the dugout, it could mean the game.

Something may be up with Tavarez. He apparently wasn't at Tuesday's workout. He certainly would have been a better pick than Snyder, since he could start or relief.

I love him. He is such a clutch player for the sox..The way he points to the base when a ball is hit is amazing... I find him a true diamond in the rough...Glad he'll get a ring when we win the World Series.. He deserves it~

Reignjah is right, something has to be wrong with him for Gagme to get a spot over him. If not, then Coma is, well, in a Coma.
