Of course it's not boring. The first game was painful, but lastnight was amazing. Also, if I were a candidate for the Yankee skipper position, I'd be very afraid. If a guy who won 4 championships in 12 seasons (1 every 3 years) couldn't last, what are the odds an ordinary manager will fair well there? Not so good.

Any series seems boring when it involves a sweep. There was alot of that going on leading up to the series. It would have been nice to see the World Series go back and forth a lot more.
As far as the Yankees manager...Joe Girardi seems to be the most probabler replacement for Torre.

Red Sox rarely steal a base? Who stole the first base of the World Series? Oh, I forgot that player was wearing a Red Sox uniform, or maybe he wasn't, the glare from the outfield lights can be really tricky late at night.
Game 1 was boring when what's his face walked three batters in a row (and it bored me from there on out). Game 2 was an armrest clincher but not a teeth gnasher or nail biter.

no way...a great show of offense in game 1 and then a great pitching duel in game 2. If you think this is boring then your probably not a baseball fan. Some people say pitching duels are boring cause theres no action but actually its the anticipation that makes the game exciting throughout. With the thought that one swing of the bat could change the game is thrilling and as a fan you hang on to every pitch as though it could leave the yard! I love baseball and its just these hidden things that non-baseball fans dont realize that make it the game exciting!

The World Series is never boring (well, maybe last year...) Mattingly looks like it. But the Yankees will rue the day they showed Joe Torre the door.

Not tonight's game as it was a classic pitchers duel and jumped at of my seat cursing the Red Sox good fortune as Todd Hollinsworth got picked off at 1st base taking the bat out of Helton hands.
Wednesday the World Series I tuned out around 11:00 as the game got out of hand and was too one sided. It was the highest rated programm of the nigh and I expect tonights game will get even higher ratings as more people stayed glued to thier TV's.

Yes, boring.
Who cares about the Red Sox and the Rockies?
If the Yankees or Mets, or White Sox aren't playing, I don't care.

backpack must be about 12.
This was such a strategic game... it all came down to pitching. It's fun to see how the teams will attempt to pitch a batter. Both teams get cheers for pulling all stops tonight.

Oh yes! Finally someone agrees with me! They are not playing exciting ball at all. Rockies have shutdown but they are not done by any means. They can be exciting.
But Boston is boring! Sure they are good but it's boring just to watch them hit the ball. They have no speed and rarely steal a base. Their defense rests almost entirely on pitching.
Extremely boring to watch!
But hang in there. I think when they get back to Denver things will change! Let's hope so!
