Hi
Yes, I do that when I'm thinking about asking the same question. I won't ask the same question if it's already been asked before, so I will just give it a star. I might also do this when a question is weird or interesting, but I don't have an answer for it.

Yes, I have and I do the same thing. I don't think it's weird at all. Some questions I just can't answer. Some I like but don't feel like answering.

I do that sometimes if I read a question that I either enjoy but don't have an answer to or one that makes me think about a subject! I do believe that's one purpose of starring a question!

Not really. Sometimes I see an interesting question but can't think of an appropriate answer so I will give them a star.

It depends: once an user called Tulip gave me a star but she did not give a answer to my question: funny enough.
Anyway, usually I don't get stars

Many times I star questions for which I don't have answers (or somebody already gave my answer) that I think one or more of my contacts will want to answer.

no, that's not weird. i star questions just so that i can keep track of them and read the answers, because they might help me, but i don't know the answer. like one of mine is about like what do you do when your dog gets sick or something. i don't know, but others do, and i keep that question on a list so i can read what other people know.

I think it is kind of cool! It means they think the question is intersting but they aren't sure how to answer. So, they give you a star!
