well i honestly dont want to be involved with some guy who has a baby either....but it was just strange to me that he said this. We had hung out once, i asked if we were going to hang out again, his response was, i'm not looking for anything serious. I never called them, but he would always ask about me. I added him to myspace 3 months later, he said we should meet up...we did...now here we are again iguess.

apparently the mother cheated on him long ago, like when she first got preggo. he didnt even think the kid was his at first...eck...why do i care?? lol...he is cute...that's about it.

exactly what he told you. he's not looking for any serious relationship. he's open to fooling around with you, hanging out, etc, but not real relationship.

Wow....talk about not actually being in the person's position and crucifying the guy.
For those of you that have the guy nailed to a cross for his honesty, take a step back and review her question. She never stated that they were dating or went out on a date. She said that they were hanging out. For those of you who have not felt the devastation of infidelity especially when a child is concerned, it shatters every bit of trust that you have. It is very easy for a woman to know that the child is hers but to doubt the reality that you are the father of the child of a woman that you are in a relationship with is excruciating and takes a very very long time to recover from….if ever. Remember, the guy is a new father, was cheated on, and has lost a large amount of trust for not just women but anyone in his life.
So maybe he is out looking to make friends to boost up his confidence again to try out a relationship down the road but simply stating that he is not looking for anything serious does not automatically place the man in the “he’s only looking for a booty call” category and is maybe looking for nothing more than friendship. If his intentions are truly nothing more than a booty call, then his actions will easily be discernable over anything else he may lead you to believe.

It means exactly what he said, he does not want to get serious. Guys are usually pretty blunt and straight forward when it comes to this kind of stuff. He just wants to have a good time and does not want a long term relationship. My only question to you is, did he have a baby with another woman? or did you two have a baby together? If you two had a baby together, him not wanting a long term relationship may also mean he does not want to do the father thing and he may not want to help you support the baby.

It's called a "bottie call!" In other words he is just using you for sex. If he doesn't want a relationship, if he doesn't want to be serious, what does he want? The answer is pretty obvious. His being a new dad (I am assuming that you are not the mom) is no excuse for his making this kind of statement, especially if he is seeing you on a dating basis. By the way, since he is a new dad, where is the mother? What kind of relationship does he have with her? And...most important, why isn't with he with the mother of his newborn. It sounds to me like this man is a player who doesn't want to accept responsibility. Do yourself (and your heart) a favor. DUMP HIM!!!! It may hurt for awhile but time heals ALL wounds. Good Luck!

If he's onyl just become a father then he's probably trying to find himself again and establish his life as being a dad! becoming a parent brings major life changes. Therefore, its only fair this man is allowed some time. However, if your the mother of this child, then this man needs a serious hiding!

That means hes not intersted in long term relationships and would rather kick it and have 1 night stands. Or hes not interested in you. Depending on how he acts towards you, youll know which of da 2 applies.

What he's trying to tell you is that while he's open to a sexual relationship (friends with benefits or f**k buddies), he is not interested in you as a person, or being your boyfriend exclusively. If that's alright with you, go for it. But if you want more than that, give this fellow a wide berth.

He needs to entice close out a sprint and quickly have intercourse with you.. according to threat as quickly as, or perhaps a chum with benifits sort of factor yet do no longer assume dinner and picture dates, thats no longer what he needs.
