Me? I'll say somewhere in like 2002 when they started splitting it into two different shows (raw and smackdown) after that WCW/ECW invasion storyline. For example, remember the summer of 2002, when Kane returned on Raw after an absence, he had a new different gimmick and all? He did the Booker T spin-a-roonie thing, my first reaction was WTF?! Even though I started hating it badly, I still watched it, wishing it would get better again but of course not. So one day I was like f*ck it, I'm not watching it anymore. Even reincarnating the Undertaker back to the deadman gimmick wasn't enough to save the sinking ship. I don't watch it at all anymore, I've moved on but once in a while I'll watch an old WWF tape I own or play the n64 game Wrestlemania 2000. By the way, please no smart-a$$ comments like "wrestling is fake," I know it's fake but it's the entertainment that I miss.

the reason why it went downhill in 2002 was because at the end of 2001 the creative manager/story line writer was let go and went to another organization and guess who got it and ruined the wwe...it was stephanie mcmahon...since steph took over creative manager and story line writer for the wwe she has ruined the company and has destroyed tons of gimmicks and wrestlers by having them job to pointless people...steph needs to step down from here position and let someone else start thinking of ideas....maybe a former wwf superstar like steamboat or rhodes or someone back there who is an agent needs to tell stephanie off....teddy hart told steph off and he got fired but if thats how the wwe is going to do stuff by firing people who have opinions then there going to go even more downhill in the next 2 years....

I'm not really sure about a real timeline either. But I think it's just that fresh storylines are hard to come up with. Almost everything has been done in some form or another. I think TNA has better storylines, but the quality of the show makes it not as good. And the fact that they'll start a storyline, then 2 weeks later they're on to something else. But maybe they do that on purpose.

When the brand split occurred...when all the great superstars such as Austin, The Rock, Brock Lensar and more recently Kurt Angle left...and when john Cena arrived!

i too miss the old WWF dayz...i miss the attitude era and all the excitement..now the WWE simply sucks...they have the young and fresh talent but 4 sum reason they rely more heavily on the veterans 2 carry the company...HHH is a good wrestler and entertainer but he has held the title way 2 many times 4 too long...TNA is where its at!

I would say in 2002 is when the downturn began. To pinpoint the exact moment i think when Austin turned and joined mcmahon. The whole thing didnt make sense and i thought they ruined his character by giving him the "what" catchphrase. Then the Rock left and it just hasnt felt the same. They lace a big name guy. HHH no matter how hard he tries isnt austin, hart, rock, or hogan. Cena isnt the guy who will carry the company on his back. They lack decent credible storylines and instead rely on shock value and it just doesnt work. I remember when i couldnt wait till 9 oclock on mondays and now i could care less. Its like Vince wanted to run his company into the ground. Splitting brands has been an awful idea and the lack of competition hasnt helped. Now vince seems compelled to bring back old guys like michaels and jericho to somehow recapture the magic of the 90s and it just isnt going to happen. the 90s were a great time to be a wrestling fan. WCW/WWF/ECW all put on great shows with clever storylines that pushed the boundaries.

I feel it went down hill at the end of the Monday night wars. Granted for awhile afterwards there was still some good quality left in the WWE, but it was obvious without anyone nipping at their heels, they were laxing a lil bit. The thing I do not get is even though there is not a huge threat to them in the wrestling business, isn't WWE in compitition with the rest of the broadcasts on Monday whether it is wrestling or not?

Nothing matches the excitement of a bobsleigh contest followed by a culring tournament, right?

properly thank you D! save changing the domestic canines call, ultimately he will answer to something and you will surprised your individuals with the unusual names he has. start up alphabetically, replace the call whenever you call him, Aaron, Adam, Alec, Amos, Ansel etc. staggering theory!
