I think so. With 33% of the world being Christian and 1/6 being Muslim, we in the West are going to have to find a way of accepting each other's differences and not always fighting each other.

Actually 6 million Jews died in WW2 not 30 million. The 30 million figure refers to total Soviet deaths in that war.

In response to witwatts, I support the right to self-determination as supported by President Woodrow Wilson. I think religion is the cause of most wars and downright dangerous when mixed with foreign-policy. I also support Israel's right to exist. But it isn't an "either-or" situation. The notion that Palestinian slingshots threaten Israel's existence is not credible.

probably, we seem to have a bad history when it comes to meddling in the Middle East.

The irony is that Bill Clinton who badly wanted to end the Arab-Israeli conflict indirectly caused the second intifada.

While Nixion and Carter who was/is a border line anti-semites managed to due just the right things durring the 73' war and after that allowed peace between Israel and Egypt.

Maybe the motto "less is more" should be the US pollicy when it comes to the Arab-Israeli conflict.

This is a matter of right and wrong.

The Israeli's are right. It's their land.

Palestinians and Palestine do not exist. They are made up names to fool the uneducated (that would be you).

The so called, Palestinians, have been offered their own land TWICE.

TWICE!!

They refused. They want Israel. Not the Jews, just Israel. They'll kill all the Jews (they've said so, Iran wants to help).

Then they can take the country for themselves.

And YOU think we should "accept each other's differences"?

You're advocating genocide. And assisting the murderers.

Neutral my ***.

We should make it clear that we support Israel's right to LIVE and will respond with armed force to any attempt to attack them.

You have a basic right to "Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness".

Why don't the Israeli's?

Why do these "Palestinians" get to pursue theirs on the dead bodies of Jews?

Why do you support them??????

It is not going to happen. How many Jews were killed during WWII and in Russia post-war? 30.0 million. That is a serious grudge my friend. And it is not the first time according to religious theology.

no the Israelis are our friends and allies and most of the Arabs are neutral or enemies. On Sept 11 they danced and celebrated in the streets over the deaths of so many Americans. religion has nothing to do with it.

If the U.S.A. does not stand behind Israel then God will show us His wrath.

We owe the Jewish people a lot. They are God's chosen people and Israel is the apple of His eye.

The will never have true peace until the return of Jesus.
