I ride an old school 1981 GSX Suzuki Katana 1100, i'm about to either have a big bore kit installed or another motor such as a GSX - R 1100 (worked off its guts) or a bandit 1200, and finally whatever happens there is the eventual purchase of a turbo.
The ol' girl goes hard but she's getting a bit tired after all these years....

P.S. "let those who ride decide" I noticed that someone has given all thumbs down to Suzuki owners, that is unfortunate that they are NOT a true motorcyclist as a true biker knows that all bikers are like one big family, especially when it comes to getting together to rally against the governments for road safety, registration fees and fines also how bikers are singled out by police, i belong to such a group here in Australia called "MRAA" (motorcycle riders association of Australia) we constantly take trips to parliment house to make changes so as bikers can have as much right to the road as car and truck drivers and to force them to improve our dilapidated roads.
But seeing the way people judge others maybe we deserve everything we get and i might just stop going to the meetings and then everyone else can stand on their own laurels, i'm sick and tired of standing up for people who clearly don't deserve representation.
My bike is a classic and even my mates who are club Members (won't mention club title) think it's awesome and they all ride full custom Harleys.
Finally to the person that is giving the thumbs down.....
Don't mock what you haven't got and remember jealousy is a curse but you'll be a "true" biker one day......
Stay Upright.

I currently own and ride a 2006 Kawasaki KLR 650 and a 2007 Kawasaki Ninja zx-14, I used to have a Honda 599 which I traded in for my 14. The KLR 650 goes quite slow but keeps up just fine and it handles quite well too, It's also incredibly comfortable for a dual purpose making it a great makeshift tourer. The 599 was pretty fast and had awesome handling comfort was good enough for an all day ride. Now the zx-14 needs no introduction as far as speed goes but it forces you to rethink everything you know about accelaration, It handles well enough where it won't fall very far behind smaller bikes through the twisties and with a set of 1 inch bar risers it's probably my most comfortable bikes yet. Without the risers it puts a little pressure on your wrists and upper back... very minor though and could still be used to tour for however long you want.

BMW R 1150 R "Roadster" with bags and a touring shield

Incredibly practical bike for commuting, fun twisties, and long hauls. It's mass makes it stable in the wind, and its eerily supple while leaning through uneven road surfaces due to the telelever suspension. Gets to 110 mph smoothly and faster than 99.9% of the cages, and will do 122 if I flog it for while after that. There's no way to lose a cop out here on the highways and Interstates (20-50+ miles between exits). Getting caught going any faster would be, in my opinion, a lack of common sense. And they will get you out here, that is what they do.

I have a Honda CB250 nighthawk it is slow in comparison to other motorcycles, it gets buffeted by heavy winds, and traffic, because it is so light it does "140km/h flat out down a mine shaft" so obviously not that quick but I can do the speed limits on it that are posted around the place, not to mention go on touring trips around the Great South-land (Aust), it is fun and still inspires me to ride and learn more about riding.

2006 Bajaj Chetak!

looks like an old Vespa, but has a 4 stroke engine (cleaner), manual trans (4 speed), will run 60, so it is good for any riding except Interstate highways, and gets 95 to 110MPG!

I have 2 other bikes, but the Bajaj is the daily commuter. It is a very well built bike, and is safe and economical.

I can afford gas, but I don't like the money going to "them", and I don't mean the oil companies!

1955 Panhead chopper
1942 74" Flathead chopper
2002 Roadglide. The pan is my favorite and the 2002 garbage wagon only comes out of the garage for long distance. It makes a 1000 mile day a pleasure though.

2004 BMW K1200 GT.

Without a doubt the best motorcycle I've ever ridden. Sporty enough to carve the twisties and comfy enough to ride all day every day for days at a time.

Right now I got a 1979 Vespa P200E , and it goes like a lawnmower strapped to the side of a tin can, but at 70mph. I can not kill that thing, and trust me I have tried. Before I had a Royal Enfield I rescued, but it was too far gone. I know someone with a new one and man do I miss that RE.

I ride a 2006 Kawasaki ZZR600, and it goes like an extension of my body.

Next up? Perhaps a Gixxer 750 or another 600cc. I like the flickability and handling far more than top speed, so a literbike doesn't really thrill me.
