I sent an email to the doe, because I suspected a teacher was coming to school stoned and he told me he refused a drug test, which is umm... suspicious, so I wrote the doe, I told them I wanted to remain annonymous, they sent me email to all the schools in the state, WITH MY EMAIL, so he approached me and asked if i wrote that, I denied it because I wanted to remain annonymous, now he is considering suing me for slandering? the doe did not keep my info annonymous, what do I do, who do you think is responsible?

Your responsible if you wrote the e-mail. Remember to never trust anyone and especially a DOE!!!!!!!!!

Whether your suspicions were correct or not, the department of education should not have revealed your name or e-mail to anyone without conducting an investigation.

You should have taken suspicions to the school administration first, however. They should have known about your suspicions, so that they could investigate and deal with the matter.

I don't think that the teacher has grounds in suing you for slander, as you did not release the e-mail, but the department of education might be held resposible.

Well you sent the E-Mail, telling someone to keep in anonymous does not make it so. The doe did not agree to keep it confidential.

I believe you are responsible for your actions.

that.s not slander you asked a question and seem.s you hit on something hear him ask for a blood test for alchoal as well drugs if he wont there.s your answer guilty. . my opion?
