Every single time I sell something on Ebay, there’s some jerk who bids and never pays – doesn’t even send any messages to explain himself!
The other day, I was going to leave one of those jerks a negative feedback rating for not paying – and what did I do, as silly as I am? I am so used to leaving positive feedback, that I did exactly that…
I have sent the last few days writing emails back and forth to the ‘Oh So Helpful’ Ebay team, and they’ve just kept giving me the same response over and over again:
“We cant take the feedback you left for this guy away, as it wasn’t abusive enough. Maybe you could ask that guy to agree to mutually withdraw the feedback?”
Come on – AS IF a bad guy would want to take his ‘fantastic’ feedback score away… Get real…
Up until now, I thought Y!A had the only customer service team that was run by a captured bunch of chained & trained monkeys… But now Im not so sure?
Have you ever been as disgruntled by them as I am now?

I've made 10 purchases on e-bay including a brand new motorcycle. Only one was I disapointed in. Seller offered to refund or exchange, but I decided to keep the item. I never sold any thing but my son has sold several items with no troubles.
Guess its rough on sellers, sorry you had problems.

I prefer to deal with amazon.com
It's so iffy with ebay. I know my hubby has alright luck with ebay. He buys and sells with them all the time. But, I get a bad feeling and go back to my tried and true amazon.

it's getting worse all the time - i had 5 non-paying bidders just this week - i didn't accidentally leave positive feedback, but i was worried each time i left neg. f.b. that i would receive retaliatory neg. f.b. - that pisses me off!
i believe the trolls are multiplying!
i love the totally scripted and de-personalized automatic responses the c.s. team sends - very helpful! (deep sarcasm)

Nope, eBay are pretty good when it comes to customer service.
They have rules that they stick too, which is why they can't change your feedback, but it's these rules that everyone follows everytime that make everything work so flawlessly.
I suggest you select the right button next time.
Also, bad luck getting non-paying buyers, I know they are out there, i've never delt with one personally though.
Maybe only allow users with good feedback to bid.
Hope that helps,

I have had the high bid no money bit too. I wish that if you do that more than once, out on your butt you go. Good luck with that.

I have always had a very uneasy feeling about eBay. It's called lack of trust. I don't use it.
