No I didn't hear about that. That's terrible. I can't understand why they sacrificed their life to stay in a house and burn up if they were able to get out. I'm sorry but I value my life much higher than any material possessions.

So did 4 other people in a migrant camp. Supposedly the couple didn't realize how close the fire was to their house.

I find it hard to feel sorry for people like that. They had to have known what was going on. They made a conscience decision to stay.

what about the couple from Hernando,Mississippi...they were married 71 years...he died in the nursing home and she died in the same room four hours later...at least no fire was involved...
