He's 10, no 100 times worse. At least LBJ possessed some degree of humility. After he had gotten us into the quagmire of Vietnam, for which I think he was genuinely sorry for, he decided not to run for a 2nd term. Very, very rare in this country's history.

It's purported that he once said, "If we win this war - the Vietnam war - I will go down in history as a great president. If not, I'll just simply be a "footnote".

When Bush was elected, Clinton had left a surplus in the national treasury: an almost unheard of event.

Since Bush took over, the national debt as soared to an unprecedented height; the last time I looked it was somewhere between 8-9 TRILLlON dollars.

LBJ agonized over the war and it ruin his spirit as well as his health , while Bush with his own words says he sleep just fine at night

We have never had as corrupt a president as W. He will go down in history for that and his utter incompetence. LBJ was a star compared to him.
