Talking about Iraq of course. Could it be fact, the liberal media doesn't want good news from Iraq. They actually hate it. God bless our troops, great job. Iraq can and will be a victory for democracy. Sorry it won't be a hot topic for you democrats any more, the tide is indeed turning. Still a lot of work to do, but the future looks bright for the Iraqi people.

Here's a partial list of U.S. casualties since Oct. 17, 2007:
Spc. Micheal D. Brown
Spc. Vincent A. Madero
Staff Sgt. Jarred S. Fontenot
Spc. Wayne M. Geiger
Cpl. Erik T. Garoutte
Seaman Anamarie Sannicolas Camacho
Seaman Genesia Mattril Gresham
U/I pending notification of next-of-kin 24 October 2007 MNC-1
The the last one was killed today. I.D. is being withheld until family is notified.
I guess the asker doesn't consider their deaths worth considering.

Being able to get through a week (not even) without any deaths is better than the alternative, but it's not an achievement.
Headline: No One Died.
Don't get me wrong, I'm glad no one died, but that isn't news. Six days without casualties is not an indication of any major improvement or change in the course of a six-year conflict.

You answered your own question... Love the lib who complained about you complaining HAHA. Actually you weren't complaining... you were more like pointing out something GOOD that was happening and they're COMPLAINING. It's a lib though, so what do you do?
You're talking about a political party (who owns/influences EVERYTHING except Fox News) who has openly admitted that success in Iraq would be bad for them. Hmm... hasn't Osama bin Laden said the EXACT SAME THING?
OOOOOOOH!!! THE DEMOCRATS AND LIBERALS ARE WORKING FOR AL QAEDA!!! They share the same goal: Defeat the Americans in Iraq. What other conclusion could POSSIBLY be drawn from such comments?

Wow..what a rehash of nonsense charges. 'Main stream media'...'liberal' media....good news hating mainstream liberal media.....shazam! A 'victory'...the tide has turned....the future looks bright! Holy #$%^ on a stick...next it will be the Second Coming of Jesus! I dunno....In my 'liberal', mainstream, good news hating newspaper it mentions a whole lot of folks killed, maimed and recently dead from wounds, 'accidents' and disease. The real story here is that almost zero real reporting about the US occupation of Iraq is on the 'news'.....even the reactionary, underground, we-love-good-news media doesn't have much to say...except everything is wonderful in Iraq...wow..'ya gotta' love these guys!

last one was Saturday in Iraq...
two have died in Afghanistan...
two others in Navy in accident...
I'm sure if it lasts all week, we'll hear something... but as of now, I'm not sure that 4 or 5 days are enough for a story... or really a sign that anything is changing... there have been "safe" periods before...

Jeez, you complain when they report bad news and you complain when they don't report good. But on the flip side Fox does the EXACT opposite. I'm not complaining about them, so why must you complain about liberal media?
The funniest thing is that when the deaths were happening by the 10's weekly, it wasn't a sign that the war was going badly by you guys. But stop the deaths for a while, and all of a sudden the war is going great. Either deaths of Americans is an indicator or it isn't one.

yeah, gotta love that liberal media. The fact that one week without death in 4 years of war has you so optimistic shows how horrible this war is.
just so we're clear, this is the same liberal media that staged the toppling of the saddam statue on 2003 right?
Simple minded? Our troops are DEAD for what? am I any safer? do people hate america less? support our troops by keeping them ALIVE.

Main stream media motto is "If it bleeds, it leads"
Why not headline with positive news?
